GETTING THERE

BY BUS

The Gaytimes Shuttle Buses will return in 2024, to help get there conveniently and get you home safe. The shuttle buses will depart Melbourne and travel direct to and from Gaytimes.

For the first time, buses will depart early on Friday morning so bus patrons will be allow early entry to the festival this year.

More buses will be scheduled this year for your convenience.

Buses are the cheapest and easiest way to get to Gaytimes, as well as the most environmentally friendly.

Further information will be available here on our website.

BY CAR

Please note Car Parking is limited onsite at Gaytimes 2024, so all vehicles must purchase a Car Pass to park onsite. Once car passes are sold out, they’re sold out!

Your Car Passes go towards sustainability initiatives at Gaytimes and carbon offsetting your travel, as well as subsidising the cost of our free internal car parking shuttle buses and the Gaytimes Shuttle Bus program from Melbourne.

Festivalgoers are not permitted to camp with your cars at Gilwell Park so you must park in a separate car parking area for safety (due to fire and traffic hazzard).

RVs, Campervans and Caravans can purchase special carpasses and will have a dedicated area to stay onsite, but spaces are strictly limited.

Free internal Car Park Shuttle Buses will be provided to transport festivalgoers from your car park to the festival precinct and campgrounds.

We make arrangements for patrons with accessibility issues to camp near their cars. Register any access requirements with hello@gaytimes.com.au

Further information will be available here on our website.

BY TAXI OR RIDE SHARE

Given it is close proximity to Melbourne, you can also take a Taxi, Uber, Didi or other ride share to drop you off and pick you up.

BY PRIVATE BUS

Organising a group to go to Gaytimes and want to book your own bus? We have a special car pass for Private Buses that allows you to be dropped off at the same entrance bus stop as our shuttle buses.
