Gaytimes is the camping festival of your big gay dreams.
Brought to you by CLOSET, Gaytimes is Australia’s queer camping music festival.
Over the three days and two nights on February 16 - 18 2018, Gaytimes returns as a boutique outdoor music and arts
festival to be held in a picturesque campground in Lake Mountain Alpine Resort.
Gaytimes will offer a weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and self-expression for the LGBTIQ community.
With an eclectic lineup of music, performers, visual arts, food trucks, yoga and more, Gaytimes is a festival experience unlike any other.
Whether you opt for glamping on the mountain top or prefer camping under the stars, Gaytimes is a bush doof with a touch of class.
"JUDY GARLAND'S BALLAD SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW COMES TO MIND WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT GAYTIMES ON A MARYSVILLE MOUNTAINTOP OUTSIDE MELBOURNE.
AFTER A LONG DRIVE THROUGH NATIONAL PARK, A GIANT RAINBOW GREETS YOU AT A SPECTACULAR CLEARING AND A TWO-DAY PARADE OF GLITTER AND ACCEPTANCE BEGINS"
- The Age
"All in all, Gaytimes was an impressive mix of people from all around the world – a beautiful sight to behold and party devotion at it’s finest. It left us in high anticipation of the next one. Could we possibly have anymore fun?"
- Three Thousand
"Here came an unashamedly camp, butch, chill, yoga-laden festival all at once—a queer space perhaps, that wasn’t completely self-conscious about the way it carried itself."
"We call it! Best camping festival in years. See you next time Gaytimes."

AN INCLUSIVE FESTIVAL
Gaytimes is a boutique music, arts and camping festival for the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and gender diverse community.
We are an inclusive festival that welcomes all the colours of the rainbow, and their friends.
We pride ourselves on curating an eclectic and diverse lineup that represents people from a broad range of identities, backgrounds and music styles.
As a social enterprise, Gaytimes hopes to provide a platform for emerging queer and gender diverse artists to be seen and heard. As we get bigger, we want to do more.
Gaytimes isn't just about music, either. It is a weekend getaway of performance art, visual art, light projections, community, self-expression, sexuality, yoga and more.
We aim to create a space for LGTBIQ people to come together and be themselves.
We also have a strict zero tolerance policy towards harassment and any anti-social, homophobic, transphobic, biphobic or racist behaviour.
In 2018 and every single year, we will take lengths to ensure the experience is enjoyable for everyone by consulting with our diverse and knowledgable community at large and implement ways to make things better and more accessible for all. This includes gender-neutral bathrooms, better access to things you need, safety ambassadors, delicious food, drink and warm spaces for patrons to relax and recover.
Gaytimes Festival is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
